I’m Gloria Lai — a strategy advisor with 20 years of experience across technology, investment, and emerging markets in Asia.

I’ve worked across the growth journey — from building ventures and shaping investment theses at a sovereign wealth fund, to driving sales and digital innovation at Lazada and Aviva, to market planning at Intel and product development at HP.

With a background in computer science, an MBA from INSEAD, and having passed Level III of the CFA Program with professional experience completed, I bring a rare combination of financial fluency, strategic discipline, and operational depth.

I work best with ambitious founders and leadership teams who are scaling regionally, preparing for capital raises, or seeking clear, actionable strategies that bridge vision and execution.

I believe good strategy only matters if it can be executed. I don’t drop in with decks and disappear — I partner closely with founders and teams to understand the reality on the ground, define what matters most, and turn that into clear, actionable plans.

Whether it’s crafting an investor-ready story, building a GTM structure across markets, or helping you delegate and scale internal operations — I bring clarity to complexity with professionalism, care, and a deep respect for your context.
